Exciting Civil Engineer I Role

This challenging position involves performing a range of civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, and land development design tasks. This encompasses investigation and design of dams, water/wastewater distribution and treatment systems, site design and engineering, stormwater analysis and engineering, among other typical industry tasks.

As a key member of the team, you will have opportunities for project site reconnaissance, construction observation, and preparation of project scopes of service, time and cost estimations.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design and support Civil Engineers on assigned projects in all phases of design and construction.
  • Carry out assignments from Project Managers relative to research, feasibility studies, presentation material and schematic, design development and construction documents on engineering projects.
  • Provide production of design calculations, specifications, estimates, construction details and sketches, and other technical documents for projects.
  • Perform site reconnaissance as required for projects.
  • Provide construction site observations for discipline's portion of projects.
  • Prepare scope of services and estimates of time and cost required to complete the project.
  • Review and approve shop drawings and other construction submittals as directed.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in civil or environmental engineering, with excellent teamwork skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, 3D and/or Tedds is also preferred.
