Job Title: Senior Process Development Scientist

Description:

  • Lead and direct scientists, engineers, and analysts in research activities, managing experimental work plans and ensuring alignment with technical workflows.
  • Guide and oversee process development, tech transfer, and optimization in small molecule areas, including chemical reactions, crystallization, filtration, etc.
  • Collaborate with teams to analyze data, form hypotheses, and develop research strategies, authoring and reviewing technical presentations, updates, reports, and client materials.
  • Apply specialist knowledge in process development, scale-up studies, and problem-solving using chemistry principles and modeling, maintaining high standards in research execution and workflow efficiency.
  • Present data effectively and represent the organization at client meetings and conferences, adhering to GLP standards and safety/quality protocols.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of industry experience for PhD holders, 7+ years for MSc holders, or 10+ years for bachelor's holders in process development or related fields.
  • Experience in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment and in pharmaceutical process development, with proficiency in PAT applications, experimental planning, scale-up, and tech transfer.
  • Skilled in technical coaching, mentoring, and leading teams, with strong technical writing and presentation abilities.
  • Ideal: Experience leading a PD/MSAT laboratory.
