We are seeking an experienced Senior Energy Consultant to lead our team in delivering sustainable, energy-efficient solutions.
About the Role:The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing energy-saving strategies for our clients. You will be responsible for undertaking energy modelling using IES VE software and providing expert advice on energy efficiency measures.
- Undertake energy modelling using IES VE (ModelIT, ApacheSim, CIBSE Loads, MacroFlo, Radiance IES)
- Calculate heating/cooling loads, energy consumption, and potential savings
- Conduct daylight analysis, overheating analysis, Part L compliance & BER assessments
- Minimum Level 7 Degree in Energy Engineering or related discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services etc.)
- 2+ years experience in Building Services / Sustainable Energy industry
- Proficiency in IES VE (loads, energy, daylight, compliance modelling)
- Knowledge of ASHRAE/CIBSE guides and Irish Building Regulations (TGD Part L)
- Familiarity with ISO 50001, renewable technologies, BREEAM, LEED, and DoE TGD-033 guidance (advantageous)
- Ber Assessor qualification (distinct advantage)
