Personal Patient Support Specialist

Our Health Care Assistant role involves delivering compassionate patient care and support in a dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, empathy and a caring nature, enabling them to build strong relationships with patients and colleagues alike.
We are seeking an individual who can provide assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming for patients, as well as aiding patients in exercises and mobility activities directed by healthcare professionals.
In addition to providing high-quality patient care, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records, following hospital policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing personal care and support to patients
- Aiding patients with eating and drinking
- Supporting patients with wound care and dressing changes
- Maintaining accurate patient records
Requirements for the role include:
- A caring, patient and empathetic nature
- The right to work in Ireland
- Excellent communication skills
- Full 8 Modules of QQI/Fetac Level 5 completed
