
Palliative Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Registered General Nurse to join our In-Patient Unit team.
The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred care in a supportive environment that prioritises holistic well-being and continuous education.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Deliver efficient palliative care with a focus on symptom management and quality of life.
- Exhibit clinical leadership and mentorship skills to support the growth and development of nursing staff.
- Contribute to teaching programs for nursing and care staff, promoting best practices and evidence-based care.
- Maintain professional standards and ethics aligned with hospice values.
- Registered General Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Post-graduate experience is desirable, with a minimum of 12–18 months.
- Prior experience in palliative care or oncology is highly regarded but not essential.
- Postgraduate Diploma or Master's in Health Sciences (Palliative Care) is an asset; willingness to pursue further education is also welcome.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, adapted to a hospice setting.
