Job Description

The role of a Field Service Technician is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of feeding systems on farms across Ireland. As a self-motivated individual, you will be responsible for organizing and prioritizing your workload while adapting to a nationwide travel schedule.

This position involves working independently as well as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.

The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and make a tangible impact on the agricultural industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Servicing: Ensure the Evolution Automatic Calf Feeding equipment is installed and serviced to the highest standards.
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional support through JFC's on-call service, working closely with the Service Team to address customer queries and concerns.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot technical issues in a timely and effective manner, utilizing problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Planning and Scheduling: Plan and schedule farm installations, manage inventory, and adhere to Health and Safety Rules & Procedures.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • A Level 6 Diploma or relevant technical certification/trade in a mechanical, electrical, or related field.
  • A full, clean driving license is essential.
  • Experience in field and service work within the Agricultural industry.
  • Strong technical and mechanical knowledge, with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
