Health Innovation and Bioethics Postdoctoral Researcher

This post offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a European Research Council-funded project exploring the intersection of health innovation, bioethics, and patent law. The successful candidate will work on the empirical strand of the project, focusing on the complex relationships between health technologies, patent law, and bioethical implications.
The researcher will conduct semi-structured interviews and focus groups with experts and stakeholders to gain a deeper understanding of the potential bioethical implications of patents over technologies related to human treatment and modification. They will also assist with conducting focus groups with technology users, including members of the public and patient representatives.
The researcher will work closely with the Principal Investigator to analyse data and contribute to project outcomes. They will also support the Principal Investigator in other research tasks, including publication development and literature reviews.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct semi-structured interviews and focus groups to gather insights into bioethical implications
- Assist with conducting focus groups with technology users
- Support the Principal Investigator in research tasks, including publication development and literature reviews
