We are seeking an experienced Inclusive Education Specialist to join our Centre at Maynooth University. This is a key role in advancing knowledge, innovation and practice in inclusion, diversity, equality, widening participation and access.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work with the Director of the Centre to develop and implement strategies for inclusive education. They will manage and deliver on the Centre's work plan, building the Centre's visibility, identifying and applying for funding, conducting policy analysis and research, and managing various research projects aimed at understanding and addressing barriers to inclusion in higher education.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement strategies for inclusive education, including developing policies, procedures and guidelines for inclusive practice
  2. Manage and deliver on the Centre's work plan, including coordinating research projects and events, and overseeing the development of publications and reports
  3. Build the Centre's visibility through social media, presentations, and other outreach activities
  4. Identify and apply for funding opportunities to support the Centre's work
  5. Conduct policy analysis and research to inform the development of inclusive education initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, with experience in inclusive education and a passion for promoting equity and justice. They will be highly organized, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
