Social Care Leader

This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver trauma-informed care for young people aged 13-17 years.

As a Social Care professional, you will provide robust and holistic care to support the development of positive attachments through relationship building.

  • Develop and implement effective Care and Placement Plans, ensuring accurate recording.
  • Promote the rights and responsibilities of each child/young person within the centre.
  • Encourage regular attendance at school, training centres, medical and clinical appointments.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents, family, and other agencies on behalf of the young person.
  • Engage in age-appropriate play and activities with each child/young person.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and manage household duties.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years' experience working in a Children & Families Service or similar environment. Registration with CORU or eligibility for registration is required.
