Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Design Systems Staff Software Engineer to lead our engineering efforts and drive long-term technical strategy.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in making high-impact decisions that affect product areas and the broader engineering organization. They will set the tone for engineering excellence and culture, leading complex initiatives, and building tooling that empowers internal teams to create consistent and high-quality user experiences.
- Establish UI/UX best practices and standards at our organization.
- Build, maintain, and update existing shared UI components.
- Educate engineers in UX and industry standards.
- Support product team use cases through building new shared patterns.
- Lead key technical decisions that form our system's stance and recommendations for product teams.
Requirements:
- Over 9 years of industry experience with deep expertise in one or more technical areas (e.g., frontend, design systems, accessibility, app performance, runtime).
- Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives, driving strategic projects and improving organizational processes.
- Mastery in system design and software architecture, with an emphasis on user experience and accessibility standards.
- Extensive experience building tooling and abstractions for developers.
- Expertise in debugging and supporting platform tooling for the frontend.
- Strong leadership and mentorship experience.
