The Land Development Agency is a commercial, semi-State body responsible for maximising the supply of affordable homes on public and other land in a financially sustainable manner. Our mission is to create thriving communities and deliver positive social impact.

Our agency is overseen by an independent board of directors and has secured significant funding from the Government. We have commenced construction on several projects on State land and have a delivery pipeline exceeding 17,000 homes.

The Role

This exciting opportunity offers a skilled Site Manager with at least 3 years' experience the chance to play a key role in delivering transformative residential and regeneration projects across the country. The successful candidate will possess the necessary technical and commercial acumen required to manage landmark projects.

As a member of our Construction Team, you will assist in the day-to-day management of matters pertaining to the construction, technical, and operational stages of a Project. You will work closely with contractors to ensure that works are carried out as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the construction stage and ensure that contractor carries out works in accordance with the design.
  • Organize adequate supervision of construction works on-site.
  • Coordinate Contract interfaces with respect to the works.
  • Assess Contractor claims and write reports on same.
  • Manage correspondence, contractual documentation, and site records.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • Satisfactory knowledge of civil engineering works, building construction, and project management.
  • At least 3 years' experience working as a Site Manager or Resident Engineer with a proven ability to deliver results.
  • Detailed experience in the delivery of residential projects.
  • Direct experience in project management and good knowledge of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Regulations.
