Overview of Key Responsibilities

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Systems Administrator to join our team. As a senior professional in this field, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining ICT infrastructure including storage, compute, virtual infrastructure, and data centre components.

  • Key Areas of Focus:
    • Storage: Manage Dell Unity or PowerStore systems, handle support issues and hardware failures, and implement zoning and masking configurations.
    • Compute: Oversee Dell Poweredge servers, manage server networking, perform firmware updates, and address hardware failure issues.
    • Virtual Infrastructure: Administer Broadcom VMware VCF, vCenter, ESXi host, and clusters, as well as lifecycle management.
    • Data Centre: Monitor and manage UPS systems.
    • Server Systems Administration: Possess knowledge of Windows and Linux server operating systems, troubleshoot server performance issues, and provide expert-level technical support.
  • Essential Responsibilities:
    • Ensure high availability and uptime of all systems and services.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and implement new technologies.
    • Provide expert-level technical guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
