As a technical service engineer, you will work closely with our customers to ensure the optimal performance of their equipment. Your role involves collaborating with senior engineers to install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment. You will use digital analytics for troubleshooting and apply basic diagnostic techniques to assess equipment and address technical issues. Additionally, you will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior field service engineers in installing, maintaining, and upgrading customer equipment
  • Use digital analytics for troubleshooting
  • Apply basic diagnostic techniques to assess equipment and address technical issues, with guidance from senior field service engineers
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems (training provided)
Requirements:
  • Completion of a bachelor degree in a relevant field
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Willingness to learn and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical challenges
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1–2 years of work experience in customer/field service support, or a related technical field
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics
Physical Requirements:
  • Extensive walking and standing for extended periods
  • Working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, working at height, lifting up to 35 lbs.
This position requires the use of appropriate personal protective equipment, including coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.The ideal candidate is willing to work in a clean room environment and possesses excellent problem-solving skills.Job Function:
