Automation Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our biopharma manufacturing facility in Dublin, Ireland.

This role will involve designing, implementing, and supporting automation systems as part of new product introductions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate process requirements into automation solutions, ensuring compliance and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with experts to capture and translate process requirements into functional design specifications.
  • Provide technical input on design elements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Implement automation changes through controlled procedures and perform necessary modifications.
  • Support project reviews and provide clear updates on progress and challenges.
Requirements:

Mandatory:

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Chemical Engineering or related field with significant relevant experience.
  • 5+ years' experience as an Automation Engineer in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sector in a regulated environment.
  • Proven expertise with industrial control systems, preferably Emerson DeltaV (S88 model).
  • Strong documentation and specification writing skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as GMP and EU Annex 11.
