About the Position
Randstad Client Solutions Ireland is currently hiring for an experienced Building Estimate Manager to manage the estimation process for construction projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to ensure accurate and timely cost estimates.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement efficient estimation processes to ensure accurate and timely cost estimates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and support the development of detailed cost estimates.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and 3D models to gather data and generate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Analyse quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure optimal pricing.
- Support the development of tender documents and proposals for new business opportunities.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating, preferably within the modular or offsite construction sector.
- Extensive knowledge of construction costs, materials, and methods, particularly in modular and volumetric construction.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Excel, with experience in 3D modeling and BIM being an advantage.
