We are seeking a highly motivated and organised professional to join our finance team as an Accounts Payable Specialist.
Job DescriptionThis is a 4 month contract role with the possibility of going permanent. You will be working in a fully office based environment, reporting directly to the accounts manager.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Full control over a portion of the purchase ledger, including posting invoices, reconciling statements, managing supplier queries and calculating supplier payment lists.
- Working closely with internal departments to obtain approval for invoices.
- Stationery ordering and other ad hoc accounting duties assigned by the manager.
- Assisting the management team with confidential tasks and specific projects.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- An excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- IT literacy using MS Office.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a flexible approach to work.
- A minimum of 2 years strong accounts experience.
