As a Supply Chain Lawyer, you will be part of a team that supports the legal department and business in providing in-house legal advice on all supply chain contract and procurement matters.

You will work closely with senior lawyers to draft, negotiate, review, and update various tender documents, standard forms, and bespoke contracts.

Key duties include:

  • Supporting the legal team in providing expert advice on procurement legislation and commercial contract law.
  • Drafting and negotiating complex contracts with external partners and suppliers.
  • Managing relationships with third-party specialists, including external lawyers, to deliver business outcomes.
  • Identifying potential legal risks and developing reporting structures to mitigate these risks.
  • Delivering in-house training on areas of interest to the wider business.
  • Staying up-to-date with relevant construction, contract law, and procurement legislative changes and case-law.

Requirements for success include:

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years post-qualification experience, including 2 years in commercial contracts.
  • Knowledge of public procurement procedures and legislation is desirable.
  • Ability to work confidently and professionally, handling day-to-day issues and complex ones with minimal supervision.
  • Team-oriented and collegiate attitude, willing to share knowledge and support colleagues.
  • Solution-focused approach, prioritizing commercial perspectives over purely academic ones.
  • Self-motivated and performance-driven individual.

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, with possible extension for the right candidate. You will gain exposure to one of Ireland's largest utility networks, enjoy a competitive base salary of €75,000, hybrid working arrangements, staff benefits, and more.
