About the RoleAs an Administration and Accounting Support Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing payroll for weekly paid employees and related support activities, dealing with any queries in relation to payroll and the employee clocking system. You will also be tasked with timely processing of supplier invoices on a monthly basis and reconciling bank statements.
The ideal candidate will possess 3-4 years' experience working in accounts, preferably in a construction-based environment, and demonstrate solid financial fundamentals. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook is essential, as well as excellent organisational and planning skills, with attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare payroll for weekly paid employees and related support activities
- Deal with any queries in relation to payroll and the employee clocking system
- Timely process supplier invoices on a monthly basis and reconcile bank statements
- Assist with debtors and creditor management
- Perform ad hoc accounting and administration work as required
This role offers a flexible hybrid approach, allowing the ideal candidate to work from home 3-4 days a week, with office presence based on preference or project requirements.
