• As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and cost efficiency across our car rental supply chain.\
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and optimize supplier negotiation and trading strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.\
• Additionally, you will lead the development of a Car Rental Insurance Performance Optimization Strategy, working collaboratively with the Insurance and Partner Trading teams to enhance insurance profitability and product proposition.\
• Key responsibilities include setting and hitting P&L performance targets, managing unit margin enhancement, and driving commission and rebate revenue performance.\
• You will also act as the conduit between Business Strategy, Supply, and Partner Trading Teams, bringing together required expertise to set and manage execution of top-tier Car Supplier commercial negotiation and trading strategies.\
• Other key duties include optimizing Car Rental Supply Performance, developing a strategy for enhanced insurance profitability, and acting as the business function commercial lead and representative with Revenue Management teams.\
• Lastly, you will coordinate data analysis and hypothesis testing with Commercial Analysts to uncover and address Car Supplier and Insurance Product trading opportunities and overcome performance challenges.\
• Data analytics & reporting automation: Support the development and embedding of processes and tools for effective Supply and Insurance performance management, including MI performance dashboards and reporting.\
• Stakeholder communication: Ensure key stakeholders across the Business, Revenue, and Finance functions understand the drivers of Supply & Insurance performance and the approach taken to drive enhancements through proactive communication and performance management.\
• Cross-functional alignment: Work with cross-functional/team leaders and peers to define and prioritize performance optimization opportunities.\
• Responsible for delivering an Advanced Car Rental Supply Commercial Strategy, accountable for the delivery of top-tier Car Supplier commercial negotiation and trading strategies, and implementing a pipeline of innovative supply products.\
• Drive supplier unit margin enhancement - managing costs inputs such as insurance claims, chargebacks, and customer service fees, while also optimizing for commission and rebate revenue performance across the Supply base.\
• Develop a strategy for enhanced insurance profitability and optimize a suite of insurance performance KPIs that are centrally tracked.\
• Act as the business function commercial lead and representative with Revenue Management teams to make active choices on Car Supplier and Insurance product pricing, content management, marketing funds, loyalty campaigns, CRM campaigns, digital marketing, sort optimization, supplier marketing initiatives, etc., to achieve P&L targets.\
• Coordinate data analysis and hypothesis testing with the Business Strategy team Commercial Analysts to uncover and address Car Supplier and Insurance Product trading opportunities and overcome performance challenges.\
• Support the development and embedding of processes and tools for effective Supply and Insurance performance management.\

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years in a similar role with commercial performance ownership.\
• Strong understanding of financial metrics and ability to build and own financial models and scenario analysis.\
• Proven history of delivering advanced negotiation strategies and positive commercial outcomes from negotiations.\
• Ability to lead cross-domain subject matter experts to drive revenue growth and achieve sustained cost efficiencies.\
• Experience in designing and leading complex strategic programs, working with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver positive commercial outcomes against committed timelines.\
• Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams.\
• Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with diverse stakeholders, building buy-in and clarity on performance strategies.\
• High level of curiosity, ownership, and hunger in achieving sustained cost efficiencies.\
• Strategic program design experience and people leadership skills.\
