Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop relationships with key decision-makers in the construction industry
  • Work closely with engineers and consultants to specify and recommend lighting solutions based on project requirements
  • Provide expert advice on lighting technology, sustainability, control systems, and Human-Centric Lighting
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and present tailored lighting plans
  • Manage relationships with installation companies, ensuring smooth project execution
  • Engage in both outbound sales activity and handling inbound leads from consulting engineers

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience specifically in the lighting industry - knowledge of light output and lighting technology is essential
  • Existing contacts within the construction or lighting sector
  • A consultative approach to sales - this role is about solution selling, not cold calling
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Digitally proficient - experience with Office 365 and Salesforce is beneficial
  • CAD competency would be advantageous
