Key Role: Outreach Operations Specialist with French Language

Job Overview:

We seek an experienced Outreach Operations Specialist to collaborate on strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills in English and French, combined with a strong background in business development and B2B partnerships/sales.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct research and outreach to government and non-government entities across various markets to gather geographic data for Google Maps using the Geo Data Upload Tool.
  2. Communicate Google's geo mission to authoritative entities and engage potential partners to share basemap data for inclusion on Maps, primarily through promotion of the Geo Data Upload (GDU) Tool.
  3. Establish effective liaisons between external partners and Google stakeholder teams to convey requirements, validate data, coordinate updates, and address operational issues.
  4. Manage and track all data submissions (through GDU or outside GDU) with GDO operations teams and various external partners.
  5. Report details of outreach and/or operational issues to the GDO Outreach Operations Lead, highlighting project status, partner expectations, user journeys, motivations & challenges, data gaps, outreach best practices, etc.
  6. Update internal planning tools and platforms as required, including logging and tracking research, outreach, rejections, resulting submissions, etc.
  7. Document deliverables, such as # of partners contacted/onboarded, # of open data sources identified or data sets submitted/ ingested, # of edits made originating from outreached sources.
  8. Address and resolve external partner queries associated with the project.
  9. Troubleshoot process and operational issues reported by authoritative data sources; develop deep understanding of data formats, structures, etc.
  10. Manage data pipeline from receiving the data captured by Partners to creation of launch schedules, ensuring highest quality of captured data as outlined in Operational Guidelines.
  11. Utilize Google and non-Google owned tools to engage with new Partners and track communications.
