Geotechnical Engineering Lead

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in a senior leadership role. The successful candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical design, engineering principles, and software applications.

Job Description:

The Geotechnical Engineering Lead will be responsible for managing client relationships, technical direction, budgetary control, and day-to-day management of junior engineers. This includes:

  • Client interface and technical direction
  • Budgetary control and project management
  • Day-to-day management of junior engineers

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of geotechnical engineering principles, experience with geotechnical software, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 5 years' experience in geotechnical design
  • Chartered status
  • A degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's in a geotechnical related field

Additionally, you should demonstrate the following skills and knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and earthworks
  • Ability to understand complex problems and conceive innovative solutions
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
