Electrical Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Dublin, working on high-profile data centre projects.

This is a key role in designing and delivering state-of-the-art data centres. As an Electrical Infrastructure Specialist, you will collaborate with industry professionals to develop innovative energy-efficient solutions in one of the fastest-growing sectors in engineering.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of electrical infrastructure for mission-critical data centre projects.
  • Ensure resilience, redundancy, and efficiency in electrical systems, including HV, LV, UPS, and generators.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate designs across multiple disciplines.
  • Manage client relationships and provide expert technical guidance throughout project lifecycles.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and testing to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to a collaborative knowledge-sharing culture.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive industrial design experience, preferably within the data centre, mission-critical, or power systems sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of power distribution, backup systems, and electrical infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver high-quality innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills – able to work effectively with clients, teams, and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as IEC, IEEE, and local codes.
