Leadership Role in Retail Management

As a key team player, the Duty Manager oversees day-to-day operations with a focus on leadership and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support opening and closing procedures to ensure seamless store operations.
  • Supervise stock management to minimize waste and shrinkage, resulting in improved profitability.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and assist with daily reconciliation to maintain financial integrity.
  • Lead and coach team members to deliver exceptional customer service and high sales performance.
  • Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally, enhancing the overall shopping experience.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, waste, and labor to inform business decisions.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, HR communications, shift coverage, and onboarding to support team growth and development.
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives, including in-store promotions and social media updates, to drive sales and engagement.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment that meets health and safety standards.
About You:
  • Results-driven and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including early mornings and evenings in a rotating schedule.
  • Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented professional with retail or customer-service experience preferred.
  • A business or management qualification is desirable but not essential for this role.
