As a pivotal leader in the payment systems ecosystem, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of secure, scalable, and reliable payment solutions. A renowned global company is seeking an Infrastructure Team Lead to drive key platforms within their Global Payments ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across Infrastructure, Networks, and Database disciplines.
  • Coordinate project and operational workloads with a focus on lean delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through effective goal-setting, coaching, and performance management.
  • Collaborate closely with Platform Engineering to ensure seamless transition from project build to operational support.

Infrastructure & Operations

  • Manage core operational processes including Patch and Vulnerability Management.
  • Lead infrastructure incident responses and post-incident root cause analysis.
  • Drive capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost optimisation across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Maintain and test Disaster Recovery plans aligned with RTO/RPO targets for all critical systems.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years' experience in an Infrastructure/Operations leadership role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technical background, ideally with a Computer Science or related third-level qualification.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills with excellent communication and organisational ability.
  • Solid experience working in cloud or hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS or similar).
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Familiarity with PCI compliance and security frameworks in enterprise environments.
