We seek a highly skilled and commercially astute procurement professional to play a pivotal role in our FMCG supply chain team. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in end-to-end supply chain planning and procurement.
Primary Responsibilities:- Develop and execute procurement strategies for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods supporting North American operations.
- Monitor stock levels and forecast demand based on sales trends, seasonality, and promotional activity.
- Manage purchase orders with local and international suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, resolving any delivery or quality issues.
- Optimize inventory turnover and reduce excess/obsolete stock.
- Coordinate with logistics to ensure efficient delivery of goods.
- Analyse data to track KPIs such as fill rate, supplier performance, and forecast accuracy.
- Support new product launches by sourcing and delivering materials on time.
- Collaborate with the US-based team to align supply with demand and market needs.
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field within FMCG or a similar sector.
- Flexibility to work US business hours (e.g., 12pm - 8pm IST).
- Strong knowledge of demand planning, procurement, and supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (preferred).
