Job Overview

This is a remote opportunity open to candidates residing anywhere in Ireland or the UK.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Network and Security Professional to drive our IT strategy.

  • Design and implement scalable cloud network architectures across multiple cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) to support business operations.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of cloud-based networks by implementing redundancy, load balancing, and fault-tolerant configurations.
  • Implement and manage network security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, VPNs, and access control mechanisms.
  • Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect against external threats and unauthorized access.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, network architecture, and security best practices.

Maintain compliance with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, SOC2) and industry standards.

Experience with identity and access management (IAM) solutions, role-based access control (RBAC), and multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)

• Strong understanding of network security protocols and technologies

• Experience with IAM solutions and RBAC

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
