Project Cost Manager Opportunity

As a seasoned project cost manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of our construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing project budgets and cost plans to ensure accurate financial forecasting.
  • Conducting thorough cost analysis and risk management to mitigate potential issues.
  • Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Evaluating and negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
  • Monitoring project progress and preparing detailed financial reports to inform stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements to maintain a positive reputation.
  • Providing expert advice on procurement strategy and contractual matters to drive business growth.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a project cost manager in the construction industry.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and procurement processes to drive informed decision-making.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to navigate complex challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying or a related field to demonstrate expertise.
