Financial Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our organization and work in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Compile monthly management accounts, delivering meaningful variance analysis and clear commentary.
• Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and all financial records.
• Ensure intercompany balances are accurately reconciled and that foreign exchange is managed during the consolidation process.
• Timely and accurate preparation and submission of VAT, HMRC, and other statutory tax returns (including VAT, RTD, VIES, PAYE).
• Perform financial analysis to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for business improvement.
• Provide analytical and financial support to the CFO as needed.
• Oversee the full payroll cycle for group entities.
• Prepare and file all payroll-related returns.
• Manage the supplier ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Promote collaboration across the company and maintain strong communication with internal departments and external partners.
• Keep ahead of industry developments and best practices.
• Support on various ad-hoc finance projects and assist with financial research when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Solid technical accounting expertise.
• Demonstrated experience in producing financial statements, management accounts, and conducting financial analysis.
• Sound knowledge of Irish tax laws, including VAT, PAYE, and Corporation Tax.
• Strong IT proficiency, especially in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Experience with AccountsIQ is considered an advantage.
