As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts and annual financial statements, processing invoices, payments and expenses, as well as conducting financial analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and statutory accounts
- Manage cash flow, process invoices, payments and expenses, and conduct reconciliations
- Bank account reconciliations and ledger maintenance are also essential duties
- Prepare and submit tax returns (VAT, RTD, VIES, PAYE etc) in a timely manner
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities for growth
- Reconcile intercompany transactions and manage the supplier ledger
- Assist with various ad-hoc tasks as required by senior management
- Hold a part-qualified accounting designation (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
- Proactive, positive attitude and excellent team collaboration skills
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities for growth
- Develop and implement effective financial strategies
- Provide regular financial reporting and insights to senior management
