Financial Accountant Role

This role is for a Financial Accountant to join our team.

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the preparation, analysis and presentation of accurate financial and management information reports.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar industry and possess strong accounts preparation skills.

They will also be qualified with 1 year or more post qualification experience (PQE) and able to reconcile bank accounts on a daily basis.

Responsibilities include preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and all month end accounts, as well as preparing VAT returns and assisting with tax compliance.

They will work closely with external auditors during the annual audit process and ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies and regulatory requirements.

Maintaining payroll records and ensuring compliance with all payroll-related regulations is also an essential part of the role.

The successful candidate will also be required to monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements and ensure the company's financial practices remain compliant.

Participation in special projects and initiatives as required, including system implementations and process improvements, is also expected.

The ideal candidate will be able to liaise with external stakeholders and regulators, prepare accurate financial reports and maintain accurate records.
