Job Opportunity: Sports Trader

We are seeking a skilled Sports Trader to fill a key role in our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for making informed decisions to trade a wide range of sports and political products using in-house models and technology.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Trade American sports, including NFL, NBA, MLB, Tennis, NCAAF, NCAAB, and Football (Soccer)
  • Develop and maintain strategic approaches to trade pregame and in-game opportunities to maximize expectancy
  • Analyze and recap past decision-making to improve future trading decisions
  • Identify interesting trading and market dynamics to suggest areas for research for the quant team
  • Brainstorm useful strategies and features to enhance future trading performance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, such as Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or Economics
  • Interest in one or more of the following: NFL, NBA, NCAAF, NCAAM, Soccer, Tennis, or Baseball
  • Exceptional quantitative, logical reasoning, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility with hours and schedule
  • Knowledge of data manipulation libraries, such as Pandas/NumPy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
