The role involves:

  • Trading across various sports including American football, basketball, baseball, tennis, and soccer.
  • Developing and refining strategies to maximize profitability and achieve business objectives.
  • Analyzing past decision-making to optimize future trading outcomes.
  • Identifying key market dynamics to inform research initiatives for the quant team.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative trading solutions.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or economics.
  • A strong passion for sports, particularly NFL, NBA, MLB, tennis, or soccer.
  • Exceptional analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility with working hours and schedule.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation tools such as Pandas/NumPy is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
