Senior Trader - Sports Market

This role is for an experienced trader with expertise in the sports market. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of making quick, informed decisions to maximize expectancy and drive business objectives.

The primary focus of this position will be on trading American sports products using in-house models and technology. This will involve running and maintaining strategies to trade pre-game and in-game opportunities, as well as analyzing and recapping past decision-making to improve future trading outcomes.

In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing them to effectively collaborate with the quant team and other stakeholders. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required, with a preference for those with a background in math, statistics, computer science, physics, or economics.

  • Trading experience in the sports market, particularly in NFL, NBA, MLB, tennis, NCAAF, NCAAB, and football (soccer)
  • Strong quantitative, logical reasoning, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility with hours and schedule
  • Knowledge of data manipulation libraries such as Pandas/NumPy is a plus
