About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Lifecycle Specialist to lead and execute product lifecycle activities for the Switchgear PL in the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.

This role involves managing the Vertiv NPDI process for product development as well as phase out, working closely with the SWGR Product Manager to develop new product requirement specifications, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver feature specifications.

The successful candidate will also assist the Product Manager in creating literature and promotional materials, manage new product prototype samples, and work with sales, pricing, and finance teams to ensure project and commercial success.

The Product Lifecycle Specialist will report on project progress and interconnections with other projects in the Vertiv Portfolio.

ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities

The Product Lifecycle Specialist is responsible for:

  • Managing the Vertiv NPDI process for product development and phase out
  • Working with the SWGR Product Manager to develop new product requirement specifications
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver feature specifications
  • Assisting the Product Manager in creating literature and promotional materials
  • Managing new product prototype samples
  • Working with sales, pricing, and finance teams to ensure project and commercial success
RequirementsQualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in product engineering, manufacturing, or marketing
  • Demonstratable experience in Engineering / Supply Chain or Manufacturing Operations and working with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to drive and accept change, continuous improvement processes
  • Must have demonstratable skills with Microsoft office applications, particularly Excel and Project
