Wine Service Professional

At Fallon & Byrne, we are seeking a dedicated Wine Service Professional to join our dynamic team in our Wine Cellar restaurant. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering a superior experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a warm, attentive and engaging service in The Wine Cellar.
  • Drive wine sales in the restaurant by advising guests on wine pairings and recommending from our list of over 300 wines available.
  • Keep up-to-date product knowledge and focus on learning about any new products which come in.
  • Ensure customer service and food standards are in line with company standards.
  • Provide feedback to management about customer requests or queries.

Person Specifications:

  • 1 year's experience in wine service or a similar role.
  • Solid knowledge of both Irish and international wines.
  • A passion for food and wine and a desire to share that passion with others.
  • Outgoing, cheerful and friendly personality.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
