Senior Windows Server Infrastructure Specialist

Job Overview
Windows Server Expert Needed
- Assist with reviewing, designing, implementing, and managing Windows Server OS security hardening, including group policies, DSC configurations, LAPS.
- Provide SME-level Windows Server support and administration (AD, File Services, DFS, GPO, DNS, DHCP, Windows Clustering, Certificate authorities).
- Design, implement, and manage automation activities within the Windows Server perimeter.
- Review, recommend, and implement enhancements that will reduce BAU effort, improve performance, reliability, and security within the Windows Server perimeter.
- Liaise with IT teams, business teams, and vendors regarding Windows Server system implementation, high availability, backup, monitoring.
- Perform Windows Server infrastructure morning checks where required.
Requirements:
- Expert level understanding of Microsoft Windows Server OS versions (Core & GUI, R2)
- Expert level understanding of Windows Server core infrastructure services (Active Directory / Azure AD, Group Policies, DFS / DFSR, Certificate Authorities, DHCP & DNS, Windows Server clustering / high availability solution)
- High level of experience managing physical server infrastructure
- Expert level PowerShell / automation scripting experience
- High level of experience with patch / configuration management solutions (Ivanti, Tanium, SCCM, DSC)
