**Job Title:** Windows Server Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Server Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This is a day rate role that could last up to 2 years, with an initial 6 month start.
Job DescriptionAs a Windows Server Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing infrastructure technologies and solutions, including computing, storage, networking, physical infrastructure, software, and commercial-off-the-shelf software (COTS).
You will work closely with developers to translate business needs into development requirements and environment, and have some basic coding and scripting skills. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining existing systems, as well as identifying and resolving technical issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Windows servers server management experience, including Cluster management experience
- Strong server administration experience required, with some 3rd level System Server admin skills
- Network infrastructure experience, including storage, traffic management, DNS, Infoblox, Active Directory interactions
- Basic coding and scripting skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with developers
- SQL query experience essential, with a strong understanding of security, accessibility, and version control
