Electrical Engineer

As a skilled electrical engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of high-profile projects across Ireland and EMEA. This challenging position requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent coordination and reporting skills, and the ability to manage deadlines on active construction sites.

Responsibilities
  • Review and interpret electrical design drawings, specifications, and installation benchmarks
  • Attend FATs and witness testing to ensure products meet technical requirements
  • Carry out system walkdowns, snagging inspections, and maintain snag/defect lists
  • Check all electrical installations align with design intent, safety codes, and industry best practice
  • Oversee QA/QC of electrical packages, including LV/MV systems, emergency lighting, fire alarm, security systems, and containment
Requirements
  • Degree qualified or certified in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in electrical site engineering, preferably within building services
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems: LV/MV distribution, emergency lighting, cable containment, fire alarm systems, etc.
  • Confident communicator with excellent coordination and reporting skills
  • Detail-focused, organised, and able to manage deadlines on active construction sites
  • A proactive mindset and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Full driving licence and flexibility to travel across project sites in Ireland and EMEA
