About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team at Sophia Housing Association. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future direction of our organisation.


The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience of working in a similar capacity within a not-for-profit or commercial organisation. They will also possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of Sophia, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will also work closely with our Head of Finance to develop and implement new financial systems and procedures.


Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the overall management of Sophia Housing Association by being a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Manage the supervision and development of the Finance Team.
  • Oversight of day-to-day financial activities, including month-end and year-end processes.
