Housekeeping and Cleaning Specialist

At our nursing home, we are committed to providing a clean and comfortable environment for our residents. As a housekeeping and cleaning specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the home.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of cleaning practices and procedures, as well as excellent communication skills. They will also have a keen eye for detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all areas of the home, including resident rooms, common areas, and laundry facilities.
  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are stored properly and are easily accessible.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules to ensure that all areas of the home are cleaned regularly.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that all areas of the home are cleaned and maintained.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
