Electrical Maintenance Technician Job Description

This role is a vital part of our team's maintenance operations. We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team and take on the responsibility of ensuring that all electrical equipment is properly maintained, installed, and repaired.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our health and safety system by actively participating and contributing to its development. This includes identifying potential hazards, reporting incidents, and implementing corrective actions.

  • Support the H&S system through proactive participation and involvement.
  • Responsible for asset performance and maintenance.
  • Complete all preventative and reactive tasks assigned by the Engineering Lead.

The ideal candidate will have a recognized electrical qualification and previous experience working in a high-speed facility, with a good working knowledge of packaging machines. Experience in automation, specifically Siemens PLCs, HMI & SCADA systems, instrumentation, and process control would be highly desirable.

The successful candidate will work well individually and as part of cross-functional teams, with flexibility to work on varying shift patterns. They will also possess the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
