Senior Data Protection Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Privacy Legal Advisor to lead our EU privacy compliance efforts. As part of this role, you will be responsible for providing expert legal guidance on data protection regulations and ensuring compliance with the GDPR.
About the RoleThis position is a key appointment in our global team, working closely with colleagues to implement international privacy laws. You will play a pivotal part in shaping our approach to data protection and ensuring that our business operates within the bounds of relevant regulations.
Responsibilities- Provide strategic advice on data subject rights, regulator inquiries, contract negotiations, and other regulatory matters related to data protection.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment with our privacy policies and procedures.
- Monitor emerging trends and regulatory developments in the field of data protection, advising on implications for our business.
- You should have at least 8 years of experience in a related field, with a proven track record of applying data protection laws in a global context.
- A law degree and extensive knowledge of the GDPR and other international data protection regulations are essential.
- You should be an effective communicator and collaborator, able to work seamlessly with diverse teams.
