Event Coordinator Role

Job Description

The Event Coordinator role is a key position in managing and coordinating various projects across exhibition spaces, trade shows, pop-ups, commercial fit-outs, and custom interiors.

This role requires a motivated and energetic candidate with creativity and the ability to deliver results. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with leading national and international brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account management of existing and new clients.
  • Liaise with design teams and issue quotations for drawings for stands at exhibitions/installs/pop-up shops/activations.
  • Manage exhibition control documents and ensure adherence to plans.
  • Set, communicate, and maintain timelines and priorities on every project.
  • Travel to onsite inspections.
  • Keep precise records of all communications.
  • Update company databases as required.
  • Coordinate various services for clients; act as a point of contact for all incoming communications.
  • Order onsite services required by client.
  • Order logistics services required by client.
  • Organize logistics and plant hire for domestic shows.
  • Control costs on individual jobs.
  • Liaise with Production Teams in finalizing construction/installation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential exhibition and event clients; research and develop a list of potential customers for exhibitions.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years' experience working in events.
  • Relevant qualification in Event Management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Capacity to build and develop relationships with clients.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible attitude towards working hours.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Full Clean driver's license.
