Global Procurement Leadership Opportunity

  • Regeneron seeks a seasoned procurement expert to lead global strategic sourcing initiatives and develop strong relationships with suppliers.
About the Role

The successful candidate will define, implement, and lead all aspects of global strategy for Direct Materials Categories, aligning priorities with procurement management and organizational goals. This role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in the biotech or pharmaceutical sector, and experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve results through sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with partners to drive value in cost savings, cash flow improvements, and efficiency gains
  • Represent Global Procurement in organizational decisions with both short- and long-term impacts on company success
  • Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance on performance, career development, and technical procurement skills
  • Use data to inform decisions and ensure successful category projects
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 17+ years of professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Technical expertise in the biotech or pharmaceutical sector, combined with strong relationship-building and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to lead and influence global procurement strategies that directly contribute to overall business success
