SiriusXM is an innovative audio entertainment company in North America. Our Services and Platform Engineering organization is expanding in Dublin, and we're seeking skilled software engineers to join our teams.

As a senior software engineer, you'll contribute to developing production services that power SiriusXM and Pandora, serving millions of listeners across the continent. You'll be part of cross-functional teams that tackle complex technical challenges, collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable backend systems that meet critical business needs.
  • Participate in system design and architecture reviews to influence technical direction.
  • Drive software quality through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive engineering culture through mentorship and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Qualifications

You should have:

At least five years of professional experience.

Fluency in Java and experience with Scala or strong exposure to functional programming via Kotlin, Clojure, Functional Java, or Python.

Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, including source control, CI/CD, and various testing approaches.
