Senior Software Architect - Platform Expert

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Architect to join our team and help us achieve our platform strategy. As a key member of our technical leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the development of our cloud-based platform and ensuring its scalability, reliability, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of our cloud architecture on AWS (Azure or other clouds acceptable), working with managed services such as RDS, Aurora, ECS, and Lambda.
  • Drive continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) improvements, with experience in Jenkins, Harness and creating 'golden paths' for developers.
  • Collaborate with peers throughout Autodesk to understand our architectural landscape and challenges, articulate opportunities, and motivate change with an emphasis on building trust.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in software engineering and Software Architecture.
  • 5+ years in a senior architecture role in a SaaS business pursuing a platform strategy.
  • Excellent experience in Java, Python, Golang and other programming languages.
