A leading medtech organization is seeking a skilled professional to assume responsibility for production and logistics planning in Galway. This is a permanent role with hybrid working arrangements.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with commercial teams to develop accurate demand forecasts.
- Coordinating procurement, production capacity, and output with contract manufacturing partners.
- Monitoring daily production performance and addressing supply chain risks proactively.
- Optimizing finished goods logistics to the US, balancing sea versus air freight strategies.
- Collaborating with warehouses and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Maintaining optimal inventory levels aligned with revenue and safety stock targets.
- Ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and maintaining accurate documentation for audits and reporting purposes.
We are seeking someone with:
- A degree in Supply Chain, Production Planning, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in production, supply, or demand planning.
- Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with FDA medical device regulations and Good Distribution Practices.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
This is a detail-driven role requiring significant cross-functional collaboration and a hands-on approach.
