Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Scientist to perform medical scientific tasks in the laboratory, including blood grouping and typing, cross-matching and transfusion of blood products.

About the Role

  • To deliver high-quality medical scientific work in the department of Haematology/Blood Transfusion.
  • To provide expert technical support to colleagues in the laboratory.
  • To contribute to quality control and assurance activities, ensuring adherence to relevant standards.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, promoting transparency and accountability.

Requirements

  • CORU registration is mandatory for this position.
  • Post-qualification experience of at least one year is desirable.
  • Relevant experience in Haematology/Blood Transfusion is essential.
  • A valid visa or right to work in Ireland is required.
