Electronics Specialist Opportunity

We seek an experienced Electronics Engineer to fill a challenging role. This position offers the chance to work with a leading client based in Galway, optimizing manufacturability and ensuring timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers on New Product Introduction (NPI) projects to optimize production efficiency.
  • Implement process improvements aligned with business objectives and current cost reduction goals.
  • Develop and maintain assembly documentation, including work instructions.
  • Train production staff in assembly procedures.
  • Support the Maintenance Team in designing planned maintenance routines for Assembly Line equipment and perform critical Engineering Maintenance tasks as required.
  • Provide technical assistance to production teams.
  • Implement process controls such as Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Control Plans within the Change Management process.

Requirements:

  • Honours Degree (or Master's) in Electronics or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Electronic Engineering manufacturing environments.
  • Proven electronic troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to interpret and understand electronic circuit designs and schematics.
  • Excellent multitasking and project management capabilities.
